03 Before you call

Three things worth having in front of you.

None of it is compulsory. All of it shortens the visit, and a shorter visit is a cheaper one.

  • Model and serial number

On the rating plate: behind the kick panel on a range, on the frame inside a refrigerator door, along the edge of a dishwasher door. It decides which parts fit.

  • What changed, and when

Whether it stopped all at once or drifted over weeks, and whether anything else happened first — a remodel, a power cut, a new water line.

  • Any code on the display

Write it down exactly as shown. A code narrows the shortlist before anybody drives out, and sometimes it settles it.

04Reviews

Before you pick up the phone.

Three recent Phoenix jobs, written up by the people whose kitchens they were.

  • Our wine cellar crept up into the sixties across a week. A wiring loom had chafed through where the hinge rubs past it, so the fan had stopped. Spliced, sleeved, and back down by evening.

    Filiberto S. · Sunnyslope · June 2026

  • Cubes came out hollow and half the size they should be. When our new tile went down the fridge got shoved back onto its own water line and pinched it. He rerouted the line and clipped it clear.

    Eusebio M. · Maryvale · November 2025

  • We bought the bungalow with a Viking wall oven that had never once heated up. Whoever sold it had left it in a showroom display mode. He switched that off and charged the $89 call, nothing else.
